Winter is definitely here my lips are becoming very dry. The best product for cuticles, hair frizz and lips is this product below!
I must say it is getting quite chilly in England, Christmas is on its way, I thought I better do a Blog about makeup and not just your average makeup but your Christmas festive look. I know you’re all thinking about it. What should I do for New Years Eve!?! What makeup should I do for Christmas day!?! Christmas parties!?!… see there is a lot to think about here ladies!
2018 Winter looks are all about a very clean cut look, so think flawless skin, light coverage, nude lips and smoky eyes (touch of glitter in the inner corners of the eye or a grey/soft smoky eye) This is what Cosmopolitan, Fendi and Mac Cosmetics are all doing on the catwalk shows.
I love a little glitter and I feel at Christmas time it is most appropriate, Creaseless cream by Benefit cosmetics is a fabulous product it honestly doesn’t crease hence the name. The colours are almost like metallic shades so a great look for a Christmas sparkly look. If you want you can apply this product in the inner corners of the eye socket too!
Caviar sticks by Laura Mercier (£29 at space NK as a set works out cheaper then buying them individually) these are fabulous and a super easy product to blend with, once you apply you can simply blend the cream texture of the eye shadow with your fingertips or blend with a makeup brush, I recommend the “Nars Blending brush” A great makeup brush for blending to create that natural no edges look to eye shadow at £26 its money well spent.
Another brand which is fabulous is By Terry sold at Space NK I absolutely love everything about this brand from their lipsticks to concealer and eye shadows. For a Christmas look once again similar to the Laura Mercier Caviar sticks but a little more of a metallic glittery texture are the By Terry Preciosity Ombre Blackstar sticks and guess what?.. They have this in a set of three colours! Super easy to use and blend.
Chantecaille Lip Chic are the best lipsticks in town with such beautiful colours that you wont find on your average typical beauty counter. ANAIS £32 a great nude/pink colour great colour for keeping on trend with 2018 makeup looks and also a fabulous colour to match alongside your darker glittery smoky eyes!
Another must for the winter months for everyone’s skin is to be hot on your skincare so hydration needs to be kept up and of course I do not just mean drinking your 8 glasses of water a day, everyone should be using a serum and a moisturiser. Serums penetrate the skin deeper as the molecules in the product are smaller so the serum does a lot of the work. Rodial and Nip + Fab are fantastic brands and between you and me “they’re sister brands” Nip + Fab is a lot cheaper you are not getting the full list of ingredients that you get in Rodial as Rodial is much more expensive but you’re still getting those key ingredients in the product that your skin needs! Rodial is fabulous especially the Dragons Blood range which at the moment has a whopping discount of 30% off just quote code-dragon at the checkout, free delivery on all UK orders and two free samples too, not bad ey!
The Dragons Blood Fix serum by Nip + Fab is simply Fab! A great boost to enhance brightness in the skin in time for Christmas!
Overall Christmas looks should have some added sparkle, tag me in Instagram #clwmakeup with your Christmas looks I want to see flawless skin, smokey eyes and natural nude colours.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
